Conception Vessel is one of the eight extra meridians. It goes along the middle of the abdomen and chest, passes through the cheek and enters under the eye socket. It meets all the Yin meridians, and is thus called the “sea of yin meridians.” It is responsible for receiving and bearing the qi of the yin meridians.

任脈是奇經八脈之一。行於胸腹正中，上抵頦部。任脈與六陰經相聯繫，又稱為「陰脈之海」。它具有調節全身諸陰經經氣的作用。
