Indications: the remedy promotes perspiration, releases exterior body, disseminates lungs and arrests asthmatic condition, which treat the exterior and excess syndromes. The typical signs include chills, mild fever, without sweating, wheezing, headache, generalized aching, thin and white tongue coating, and a floating and tense pulse, indicating exogenous wind and coldness evils have attacked the exterior body. With appropriate modifications, modern physicians use it for diseases like common cold, influenza, bronchitis and asthma that have above signs.
