suan zao ren	sore jujube seed	Semen Ziziphi Spinosae
zhi mu	anemarrhena rhizome	Rhizoma Anemarrhenae
chuan xiong	Sichuan lovage	Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong
fu ling	poria	Poria
gan cao	liquorice root	Radix Glycyrrhizae

Indications: bad temper, insomnia, dizziness, blurred vision, irritability, mouth and throat dryness, palpitations and night sweats, the pulse is thready and taut. With appropriate modifications, modern TCM often uses this formula for conditions like insomnia, menopause disorders, nervous breakdown, night sweats and amnesia.
