Hi, Years ago I went to a Chinese place in Arndale, Manchester who gave me a Chinese herb for itching of the head I have which I got through taking anti-biotics for acne, the Chinese herb worked, I used to boil it in a pan and drink the thick brown liquid but I do not know what it was, can anyone tell me please?

It sounds like it is Oriental Arborvitae although on the symptom guide page it says this is external use, if you can also drink this then I'm sure this is what I am looking for, can anyone confirm this?
