Tenesmus
  Tenesmus refers to an ineffectual and painful straining in emptying the bowel, which is due to qi stagnation in the intestines or internal accumulation of dampness-wet evils. It is commonly seen in dysentery.

  裏急後重指陣發性腹痛，時時欲瀉，肛門重墜感，便出不爽的症狀。中醫認為多由濕熱內阻，腸道氣滯所致。常見於痢疾。
