	Orifices   Orifices are the openings on the face, such as the eyes, ears, nose and mouth. The essential substances of the five solid organs are distributed to them, so that any pathologic change of these orifices contributes to a diagnosis of the disorders of the five solids organs. The orifices can be regarded as the openings of the five organs on the body's surface: the liver opens into the eyes, the heart opens into the tongue, the spleen opens into the mouth, the lungs open into the nose, and the kidneys open into the ears and genital organs.		qing qiao 清竅   清竅指面部的七個孔竅；眼、耳、口、鼻。五臟的精氣通于七竅，故從七竅的變化可幫助診斷五臟的疾病。清竅被認為是五臟在體表的窗口。例如肝開竅於目、心開竅於舌、脾開竅於口、肺開竅於鼻及腎開竅於耳及二陰。
