Yellow Emperor
The Yellow Emperor and his ministers were accredited with many inventions and advances such as the manufacturing of utensils, the building of boats, the pestle and mortar, the creation of the calendar, and the development of currency. It was said that during his reign he created provinces and divided the land into regular portions. The Yellow Emperor or "Huang Di" is regarded by many as the "Mythical Father of Chinese Medicine" and as one of the earliest ancestors of the Chinese culture. It is believed the Yellow Emperor lived to be 110-years-old.
