Hi all,
Hoping someone could clear up this concept for me. An article on this website described the symptom of Red Urine to indicate: heat evils in blood stream and meridians.

Which organs does this affect and how as well as what exactly does that mean for treatment options? Thank you!

If the heat from the outside enters the blood, or if there is yin deficiency in the body, blood heat will generally occur. http://www.udianinfo.com A website dedicated to Chinese medicine. There are also discussions between doctors, enthusiasts and patients.

The heat is usually accumulated in the liver meridian or lower burner region, as the bladder and genitals are dominated by them.

In Chinese Medicine, the causative factors for disease development are generally divided into six types, including wind, coldness, summer heat, dampness, dryness and heat/fire.

The concept should be viewed as descriptions or indicators of bodily reactions, rather than entity in a modern sense.

When physicians identify that the bloody urinary condition is due to a heat irritation:

Then they will select appropriate herbal remedies for treatment.

Perhaps heat or toxic heat in the urinary bladder meridian.
